Resident Resources:
Cardiovascular Medicine

Resident Resources: Cardiovascular Medicine is a self-study, interactive educational program in cardiovascular medicine for primary care resident physicians. The program is a contemporary learning model in a CD-ROM format featuring audio, video, text, animation and graphics.

The program uses the latest in electronic teaching techniques. Using a case approach, the content parallels the core educational guidelines established by the American Academy of Family Physicians for family practice residents.

Resident Resources: Cardiovascular Medicine was developed by Bioscientific Resources, Inc. and Thomas Jefferson University in concert with a distinguished faculty of primary care educators and cardiologists.

The program is designed to complement existing residency training programs and provides an additional educational resource as resident physicians pursue their training in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiovascular disease.

Copies of the software are available for your review in the Scott Library Learning Resources Center.

This educational initiative was made available through an unrestricted educational grant from the Bristol-Myers Squibb Company and the Bristol-Myers Squibb/Sanofi-Synthelabo Pharmaceuticals Partnership.
