Welcome to the Browsing Corner! Each month there will be reviews of the books in our BROWSING ROOM COLLECTION, which is located on the first floor of the library.
The reviews will consist of five different genres. Fiction, non-fiction, biography, romance and health/fitness awareness.
There will also be an alternating spotlight section each month, featuring an author or a book from a different genre. (i.e. Suspense, History, Sci-Fi, etc.)
NON-FICTION
Halpin, Brendan It takes a Worried Man
Brendan Halpin's young wife is diagnosed with stage-four breast cancer. Confused and angry, he decides to write down his feelings. This book contains all the anger, joy and sometimes-funny moments between a couples' battle to beat cancer.
FICTION
Meltzer, Brad The Millionaires
Unsuccessful bankers and brothers, Charlie and Oliver are offered a large amount of money in an abandoned account. The brothers decide this is an offer they don't want to refuse; however when a friend is found dead and the secret service shows up the money loses its appeal.

BIOGRAPHY
Felix, Antonia Laura: America's First Lady, First Mother
Felix has written a delightful and pleasant biography of Mrs. Bush. The author relied mostly on the first lady's mother, Jenna Welch, to create this book. The author takes the reader from Laura's beginnings in Texas as a librarian and teacher, to her present day job, First lady of the United States.

ROMANCE
Chamberlain, Diane Cypress point
Joelle introduces Liam to Mara, and they get married. When Mara suddenly becomes disabled during childbirth, Joelle and Liam comfort each other, and become lovers. Matters become worse when a stranger, claiming to be the father of Mara's child, enters the picture. Feeling confused and guilty, Joelle seeks help from a mystic healer and discovers more than she could ever imagine.

HEALTH /FITNESS AWARENESS
York, Sarah Mountbatten-Windsor, Duchess of Energy Breakthrough
This book is filled with motivation from the duchess of York as well as Weight Watchers. The book talks about a four-week fitness program that teaches the reader to maintain stamina and energy while losing weight.
