On Wednesday February 6, 2002 Thomas Jefferson University hosted a Medical Library Association (MLA) satellite teleconference, "Sync or Swim: Managing the Flood of PDAs in Health Care", presented by the Philadelphia Regional MLA.
The event was attended by 50 Delaware Valley medical librarians, who wanted to learn more about Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) usage in health care.
The event included a networking hour, an opportunity to meet with various publishers, and an event wrap-up with attendees sharing their thoughts and experiences working with PDAs.
