MD Consult's new My Folder service is a personal filing tool that allows users to:
- Save and organize content found on MD Consult
- Save searches for easy reuse
- Create personalized folders and organize them in a variety of ways
- Access folders from any computer at anytime
MD Consult already allows you to set up personal profiles for news and for printing patient education documents. The My Folder service takes personalization a step further, so that you can use MD Consult to store your work from session to session.
To use it, just click the "Save Bookmark" icon to store a document, or the "Save Query" icon to save a search.
You may even drag-and-drop information within the folder for easy personal organization.
This new service is similar to PubMed's Cubby or OVID's Save Search features, both of which are popular with experienced searchers.
