This workshop will introduce users to using this personal reference bibliographic management system. Attendees will learn how to create a database, customize a database, enter citations manually, download from web-based databases, import text files and create a bibliography.

Digital Image Processing for Presentations

This workshop deals with basic issues related to the acquisition and manipulation of digital image files for use in on-screen presentations or output to various devices, such as: film recorders, inkjet printers, laser printers, high-quality photographic printers and more. Learn the correct ways to use flatbed and slide scanners and digital cameras. Input or acquisition resolution versus output resolution will also be addressed.

This series of workshops will cover virtually every function available in PowerPoint. Workshops are offered in the recommended learning sequence; however, it is not a requirement that you take each session. Please review complete workshop objectives before determining which workshop(s) you would like to attend.

Getting Started in PowerPoint

This workshop will teach you the basics. You will learn to create new presentations, apply design templates, manipulate text, insert graphics, prepare notes and handouts from PowerPoint slides, save presentations and more. NOTE: The objectives in "Getting Started in PowerPoint" are considered prerequisite to all subsequent sessions.

Working Efficiently with Power Point and Other MS Office Products

Work more efficiently in PowerPoint by learning to import Microsoft Word documents, insert Microsoft Excel graphs, format slides with imported text, link Excel graphs for continual updates, and much more.
