Single Citation Search in PubMed
If you have a partial citation that dates from 1960 to the present, you can look up the complete citation through the single citation search engine in PubMed.

From PubMed click on Single Citation Matcher on the navigation bar.

The Single Citation Matcher is a fill-in-the-blank form that allows you to enter partial journal citation information to locate a record for a specific single article, or items indexed from a particular volume or issue of a journal to look for a single citation.

For example, if you knew the author was Roine and the article was published in JAMA and started on page 237 the single citation matcher will generate the full citation.
