Amazon is giving consumers a chance to step further inside the e-bookstore with their new Look Inside the Book feature. Instead of relying solely on book reviews and word of mouth, readers can now make more informed purchasing choices by electronically flipping through a book's pages.
While Look Inside does not provide electronic access to a book's entire contents, readers can browse through front and back covers, table of contents, book flaps, and selected images and excerpts. Look Inside is currently available in over 25,000 titles, including Gray's Anatomy: The Classic Collector's Edition and Tiger Woods's new book How I Play Golf.
