New AMA Web Site for Students
The American Medical Association has announced a new website to meet the needs of medical students.

Links that students might find valuable include:

  • Becoming a doctor
  • AMA-Medical Student Section (MSS) Assembly
  • Career Exploration and Decision Making
  • Applying for a Residency
  • Access to FREIDA (Fellowship and Residency Electronic Interactive Databases)
  • PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) section with buying guides, general information and software
  • Resources for financing medical school with links to loans, scholarship and service commitments opportunities
  • Access to the AMA Medical Student Members-Only Discussion Forums
There is also information on literature searching, journals, medical references and web sites with health information for patients.
