MDConsult News
This month there are two new enhancements to MDConsult. Within the journal searches you may now retrieve abstracts from the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews. You can even narrow your searches to Cochrane abstracts-only or to all relevant review articles with search limiters.

The long-awaited Evidence-based Medicine journals from Churchill Livingstone are now available. The journal titles include Evidence-based Cardiovascular Medicine, Evidence-based Health Policy & Management, Evidence-based Healthcare, Evidence-based Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Evidence-based Oncology.

Coming soon: New editions of Braunwald: Heart Disease, Goroll: Primary Care Medicine, Sabiston: Textbook of Surgery, Dambro: Griffith's 5-minute Clinical Consult, and Rakel: Conn's Current Therapy.

Also coming soon are reference texts new to MDC, such as Ruddy: Kelley's Textbook of Rheumatology and Juhl: Paul & Juhl's Essentials of Radiologic Imaging.

MDC will also be updating the women's health advisor and senior health advisor patient handouts from Clinical Reference Products and the alternative medicine patient handouts from Integrative Medicine Communications.

For those of you who track CME programs, you will find a new tool from Cyberounds, MDConsult's CME Center provider, called Group CME Program. The easy-to-administer program saves you both time and money. Also, access to nearly 200 Grand Rounds CME activities are available for use.
