The World Wide Web on the Internet is transforming learning, practice and research in health care. This workshop will familiarize you with the tools needed to take advantage of the vast array of resources the Internet has to offer. Also become familiar with popular productivity software available for your home computer.
Participants will develop both a conceptual and experiential understanding of the nature and organization of Internet resources, learn searching strategies, and sharpen skills for locating and evaluating healthcare information. The workshop incorporates healthcare scenario-based exercises in a hands-on environment.
