More Electronic Journals
The journals Apoptosis, Behavior Genetics, Bioscience Reports, Cancer Causes and Control, Cell Biology and Toxicology, Chromosome Research, Clinical and Experimental Metastasis and more will be available at your desktop this month. This is just a small sampling of approximately 600 full-text journals library patrons can access from home (via our proxy server) or on campus.

The electronic full text of each article is identical to the printed version of the journal, and is available up to 8 weeks prior to the arrival of the printed issue. All files are in standard .pdf format--easily read using Adobe Acrobat Reader. (It's free, see the Aug/September Forum for details on downloading the reader)

Where do I find these journals?

Kluwer Online provides access for the us to the full text of journals published by Kluwer Academic Publishers. Kluwer publishes almost 600 journals in a wide range of subjects, many in scientific disciplines. Since we currently only subscribe to 21 of their titles this represents over 500 new journals added to the Scott Library collection.

The 75 medical journals identified in this cornucopia will be linked from the electronic journals page on JEFFLINE. As of the publication date of this newsletter the remaining journals may be accessed (from the TJU/TJUH campus) by going to the Kluwer web site. These remaining titles will soon be linked from JEFFLINE, so you may access them from off-campus.
